Inauguration of Scandinavia's largest Audi Center - Grand opening in Kista

Audi has together with Din Bil opened one of Scandinavia’s most modern and largest Audi Centers in Kista. In line with the brand’s new “Consistently customer” strategy, the Audi customer is put at the centre of the new facility. With a digital Customer Private Lounge, flexible workplaces and large exhibition spaces, Audi Center Kista is optimized for the future.

Audi Center Kista in northern Stockholm is built to offer existing and potential customers a complete experience of the brand. The new facility includes one of the largest digital display rooms in Scandinavia, the possibility to charge electric cars and a so-called Customer Private Lounge where the customer can experience the customized dream car in a realistic 360° view.

Hildegard Wortmann, Sales and Marketing Director of audi ag’s management team was present and officially inaugurated the facility:

“Our dealers are and remain the backbone of our business. Especially considering all new technology, our dealers are central to contact with customers. With modern Audi Centers as our latest in Kista, we invest together with our partners in future areas such as electrification and digitization and make it an experience for our customers.

Together with Jens Wetterfors, CEO of Din Bil Sverige and Johannes Sieberer, from Porsche Holding GmbH, Wortmann inaugurated the new 6,500 square meter building in the heart of Stockholm’s IT district. Your Car Sweden, owned by Porsche Holding GmbH, operates Audi Center Kista. The staff, who move from the old facility at Järva Krog, get a completely new working environment with bright rooms, modern workplaces and a workshop that is equipped with the latest technology and batting daylight. The entire building is planned for the future. By 2020, Audi Center Kista expects to deliver about 1400 new cars.

Sweden is ranked as one of the leading markets for electric cars in Europe and is therefore an important market for the electric car Audi e-tron. Nearly 500 cars have already been delivered in Sweden and by 2025 Audi expects to launch 20 fully electric models. Audi Center Kista is therefore planned for increased new car sales of electric cars. Visitors can charge their cars outside the resort and there is also charging capacity for up to 800 amps.

Diego Ramos, head of Audi Sweden, was present at the opening ceremony:

“We are pleased that we are finally getting our own premium facility in Kista and look forward to welcoming all Audi customers in northern Stockholm. Our model program is growing, not least with many electric cars in the coming years, and we already have the youngest model program in the premium segment. Audi is investing for the future and this year we have opened three more completely new plants – Bilmetro in Gävle, Toveks Bil in Skövde and Möller Bil in northern Gothenburg. It shows a strength and strong belief in the future of our dealers.
